8 days in, i think i’ve done more than i thought possible. I got a social security number, opened a bank account and got a mobile number. Gone through so many meetings and writing up documents i think i’m already in love with iWork’s Pages. After visiting Edgewater twice, i’ve put down a deposit for my new rental place just down the road from where i am staying at the moment.

View from the new place. Love the little open space one floor below.
It is a tiny place, but after doing some budgeting, this is probably the best i can do if i want to live in the city area. Small enough to make me wonder how a sofa and a tv would be able to co-exist in the living room.

Bedroom on the left, kitchen straight ahead as well as the entrance
The whole building is still a work in progress. First move in date is 15th August but i don’t think i will be going in till late August to mid September. Its a got a nice spacy bathroom and closet, with the bedroom slightly on the small size as well. Will probably TRY fit in a queen size bed. This place comes with all new appliances like stove, microwave, oven, fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Pretty neat.

Shot taken from the bedroom. Nice window looking out

Pardon the crap camera on my blackberry
The weather has been fantastic for the past week. It is almost peak of summer, but theres always a nice breeze with clear skies. It was good to take a walk down along the water. This place is pretty cool in the weekend with some sort of a growers market and arts market.
Janine&Dave and me intended to go for a private boat ride under the bridge and along the coast but it didn’t work out. I think the boat owners were already busy, so we headed to the nearby Hooters to get a few drinks and relax.
We are one happy bunch.
