I have finally moved. To the other side of the world. San Francisco.

Sitting on my favourite spot in the corporate apartment

The wait for the past months have been testing, but the last two weeks could well be the most energy draining weeks. The preparation for visa interview, trying to catch the same flight out with the others (thanks Liz!), the 4-5 full days of packing, meeting up with the people i will leave behind in Perth and quite a few more items in my to-do list. It was indeed an energy sapping exercise.

Watching the world go by

The weather have been wonderful. Eventhough its summer here, its almost identical to winter weather in Perth, but with the unpredictable temperature change in Melbourne. At least the sun is still up come 8:30-9pm, simply awesome.

The usual suspect

Barely a week into it, i feel i need to meet a couple more new faces. The bunch that i usually hang out with is definitely missing, and all i see everyday have been the few colleagues who also relocated to San Fran. I’m hoping to meet more people when i eventually move out from the corporate apartment. Preferably with cute dogs

Social security number will arrive in my mail in 2 weeks. It better be, or else i won’t be getting paid.
